Ohhhh myyyy goodnessssss….
How can I even wrap my mind around the fact that I now have a 3 year old?! I can’t! I refuse! He’s getting so big so fast! Which means… I’m getting OLDER. Dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn
But seriously, motherhood has been the most amazing experience. I am so blessed to call this boy my SON and I could not be more proud of Kirk Fisher Robinson! My big boy!
Fisher is absolutely smitten with all things ‘car’ related; especially, Lightening McQueen. So, OF COURSE we had to speed right into our 3rd birthday Cars style!
I spend a lot of time planning my kids’ parties. Not because I want them to be super extravagant or over the top… but, the decor has to be so good I want their little jaws to drop and say, “WOW, mommy!” That’s why I decorate so hard. I love making them smile and it’s literally ALL to impress them.
If your little one is obsessed with Lightening McQueen as much as mine is you’re going to love the party we threw for him for his birthday this year. You’ll also be surprised to know that all of the decor (almost all) is from Amazon! They have SO MUCH car related decor and it is all so PRECIOUS!
I found these super cute orange cones to stick flags in for cute centerpieces (which I didn’t mind buying because we can actually use them outside). The checkered flags came in a big set, so there was plenty to put everywhere and included a checkered flag banner. It was super long which allowed me to cut however much I needed for their designated places.
The signs were all so cute and came in a huge set of car decor from Amazon. Speed limits, caution, etc. Perfect for the party! The Fueling Station was my favorite one just because I thought that was perfect for the drink area. Pit Stop was over where the food would be served.
I got a lot of the balloons (all except the one from Lushra) from Amazon as well. These were perfect for the entry into the party.
The backdrop was the perfect addition to the outside area and I completed the look with another fabulous Lushra DIY Balloon Garland Kit. I have to tell you that this balloon kit is the same one I used to decorate my friend’s baby shower (just a different color), and it is my all time favorite! Its super easy to put together and made the whole party so much more fun and lively! Grab yours here for 10% OFF with code BRITNYROBINSON10 at checkout!
Fisher’s birthday is in June, so we usually have it at our house so the kids can swim since it’s so hot. Having the balloon garland outside added to the fun and was a perfect photo opportunity with the Cars backdrop. I also found these big tire pool floats for the kids to play on in the pool which were perfect for the theme!
The afternoon was filled with burgers, hot dogs, and popcorn served in the cutest cardboard ‘FUEL’ boxes that resembled fuel cans. Oreo spare tires were also served and the cake was created by none other than HEB! For cakes with amazing flavor at a great price I completely recommend HEB. They are amazing! Cake topper is from Amazon!
Party favors included the cutest little plastic gold trophies to resemble the “Piston Cup” which I filled with chocolate Kisses. Tablecloth and plate sets are linked in the Shop the Post widget below!
I hope you found some inspo here for your little one’s birthday and please let me know if you have any questions! I love decorating and if you need help recreating my look here give me a shout!
Love,
Britny
