Hi all!

This is one of my favorite rooms in the house and I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was to have completed it! I love every bit of decorating; especially, when it comes to putting together a nursery. It’s so much fun to see a project like this come together.

I spend a lot of time with Clyde here and it’s truly a relaxing place to be. Fisher’s room was safari themed, but I felt like going a more western boho theme for Clyde. I love cactus and buffalo! One of my favorite features of his room was a fun find from Fairgame Wildlife. They sell the cutest stuffed animal mounts! I couldn’t believe they had a buffalo mount. It really tied it all together so perfectly! This is the largest buffalo called, Tatanka. He is so adorable that I also got a large moose for Fisher’s outdoor/fishing room called, Leon. There are many animals to choose from, so go check them out!

His sheets are an adorable water color cactus print that adds a pop of color to the room with his matching changing table cover. I also added some color by hand painting an art piece for the nursery. I felt like making it a sunset with pinks, oranges, and purples really help set the tone for somewhere in a peaceful desert landscape. The dresser/changing table was an old antique I found on the side of the road near Lufkin, Texas. I bought it for about $60 and painted over it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in the color, ‘Old White’. It’s by far one of my favorite DIY furniture projects I’ve done! I linked a few pieces already completed on Etsy in the Shop the Post Widget below.. I added some gold brushed hardware from Home Depot and completed the look with a mod circular mirror to hang above it! I also love putting little booties and mittens in glass decanters next to the changing table. Then, after a fresh diaper, we can laugh at ourselves in the mirror and play “who’s that baby in the mirror” The kids love it!

I hung a boho chandelier above our rocking chair and scattered some greenery onto the shelves. I’m a sucker for succulents and these faux ones from Hobby Lobby were too perfect not to incorporate into the space. The shelving is from Hobby Lobby as well, but I’ve linked some similar as well. My name signs above the crib are from Mod Wood Company. Julie is SO talented! They came out better than I could have ever imagined and I love seeing Clyde’s first and middle name so big on the wall.

The rug is also one of my favorite features that adds a southwestern vibe with color. I have so many rugs from Loloi Rugs! I absolutely love the quality and all the many options to choose from! They also have just launched their line in partnership with Joanna Gaines, so you know they have great products! If you’re looking to spruce up your space with a rug you’ll find the perfect one here!

I hope you enjoyed the peek inside the Clydester’s room! There is nothing like planning and preparing for a new baby. It’s so exciting and there are so many amazing themes and ideas out there for nurseries. I hope this gives someone a little inspiration! If you have any questions about any of the items you see pictured please let me know and I’ll get the info to you asap. Send me and email or comment below!
